Subject to the financial provisions of the 2022/28 Commercial Regulations governing the European Qualifiers, UEFA Nations League and friendly matches, each host association retains its match-related earnings and bears all the costs of organising a qualifying match (including any taxes, levies and charges).
For matches in the qualifying competition, the host association pays for the board and lodging of the referee team, as well as for their transport within its territory. UEFA pays for the referee team’s international travel expenses and daily allowances.
Unless agreed otherwise by the associations concerned or stipulated otherwise in these regulations, visiting associations pay for their own travel, board and lodging.
