Article 13 Group formation and match system – main round - Futsal World Cup Qualifiers

13.01

The teams in the main round are drawn into 12 groups of three.

13.02

In the main round group phase, each team plays one home and one away match against each other team in its group. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw, and none for a defeat.

13.03

The 12 group winners and the four best runners-up qualify for the elite round. The remaining eight runners-up qualify for the main round play-offs.
