Article 20 Mini-tournament host selection - Futsal World Cup Qualifiers

20.01

Associations wishing to host a mini-tournament must notify the UEFA administration in writing on the relevant form by the entry deadline.

20.02

In principle, for the preliminary round, the UEFA administration decides on the mini-tournament hosts before the corresponding draw:

1. If more associations are interested in hosting a mini-tournament than there are mini-tournaments to allocate, the following criteria apply:

   • quality of the infrastructure (e.g. halls);

   • travel distances;

   • promotional concept;

   • previous experience as a host;

   • development of futsal.

20.03

If it is not possible to designate all mini-tournament hosts before the draw, the associations in the group(s) concerned must agree, which of them will host the mini-tournament(s) in question. If the associations cannot agree by the deadline set, the UEFA administration will conduct a draw for this purpose.
