Article 21 Match dates and fixtures - Futsal World Cup Qualifiers

21.01

All qualifying matches are played on dates listed in the 2025-28 FIFA International Futsal Calendar, as follows:

1. Preliminary round:

   • 6-15 April 2026

2. Main round group phase:

   • 12-21 October 2026

   • 2-11 November 2026

   • 6-9 December 2026

   • 22 February -3 March 2027

3. Main round play-offs:

   • 12-21 April 2027

4. Elite round group phase:

   • 6-15 September 2027

   • 11-20 October 2027

   • 13-22 December 2027

5. Elite round play-offs:

   • 10-19 April 2028

21.02

Even if the associations agree to stage matches on dates other than the reserved dates, all matches must be completed by the end of the period reserved for that stage of the competition.

21.03

If all the associations concerned are in agreement, subject to the principles governing the release of players for association teams as laid down in Annexe 1, Article 1ter of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, matches may be played on any other date with the exception of the last two matches of a group, which, for reasons of sporting fairness, must take place on the same day, unless agreed otherwise by all teams in the group.

21.04

Host associations must enter the dates of all matches online by the deadlines set by the UEFA administration.

21.05

Four team mini-tournaments must be organised according to the following schedule:
