Each participating association must appoint an English-speaking person acting as a team press officer for the whole competition to coordinate media matters in cooperation with UEFA and the media, in accordance with UEFA’s rules and regulations. That person assists UEFA with access to interviews, training sessions and other team media activities, as well as providing operational information, content and statistics as requested. That person must attend all team media activities, travel with the team to all matches and work alongside the UEFA media officer at the match venues.
Teams must cooperate to the fullest extent possible with access and interview requests from UEFA media platforms before, during and after the competition. If needed, UEFA and the association will agree in advance on the date(s), time and location when the squad, the head coach and the assistant coach will be made available to gather the relevant content for host broadcaster operations and UEFA digital platforms.
After the match, teams are responsible for ensuring that all relevant players who have won official UEFA awards (e.g. player of the match or player of the tournament) attend the relevant official event, ceremony, press conference or presentation.
