The host association should provide a press conference room with at least ten seats, a head table and chairs for three people and a backdrop.
A post-match press conference must start no later than 20 minutes after the final whistle. Both teams are obliged to make at least their head coach available. If the expected media presence is low, the host association may decide to organise a more informal media activity in the mixed zone instead of a full press conference. For the final tournament, such alternatives must be approved by UEFA.
After the match, a mixed zone must be set up between the teams’ dressing rooms and the team transport area. This area offers reporters additional opportunities to conduct interviews and is accessible only to coaches, players and media representatives. It should feature sufficient space to accommodate at least ten media representatives, with barriers between the players and the media.
If requested, each team must provide a minimum of three players who participated in the match to conduct interviews in the mixed zone.
