Points are awarded for each match played in the preliminary round, main round and final tournament group stage.
Match points are awarded in accordance with the final scores as ratified by UEFA. Penalty shoot-outs and final tournament knockout matches are not taken into consideration.
For preliminary round matches, points are awarded as follows:

1 point for a win;

½ point for a draw;

0 points for a defeat.
For main round and final tournament group matches, points are awarded as follows:

2 points for a win;

1 point for a draw;

0 points for a defeat.
The coefficient of an association that has not previously entered the competition is zero.
