5.01

On entering the competition, participating associations agree:

  1. to play in the competition until their elimination and to field their strongest team throughout the competition;

  2. to stage and play all matches in the competition in accordance with the present regulations;

  3. to comply with all decisions regarding the competition taken by the UEFA Executive Committee, the UEFA administration or any other competent body and communicated appropriately (by UEFA circular letter or by official letter or email);

  4. to observe the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations for all matches in the competition;

  5. to indemnify, defend and hold UEFA, its subsidiaries and any LOS and all of their officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents and other auxiliary persons free and harmless against any and all liabilities, obligations, losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, fines and expenses (including reasonable legal expenses) of whatsoever kind or nature resulting from, arising out of, or attributable to any non-compliance by the association or any of its players, officials, employees, representatives or agents with these regulations;

  6. to adhere to the principles governing the release of players for association teams as laid out in Annexe 1, Article 1ter of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, and more specifically the status of futsal players as defined in Annexe 7 of these same regulations;

  7. to cooperate with UEFA at any time – and in particular at the end of matches – in the collection of items from the game and players' personal items that could be used by UEFA to create a memorabilia collection to illustrate the heritage of the competition, to the exclusion of any commercial use;

  8. not to represent UEFA or the competition without UEFA’s prior written approval.
