Article 12 Competition stages - Under-21

12.01

All matches in the competition are played in conformity with the IFAB Laws of the Game. The half-time interval lasts 15 minutes.

The competition stages are as follows:

1. Qualifying competition

   • Qualifying group stage

   • Play-offs

2. Final tournament

   • Group stage

   • Knockout stage, comprising:

     • Quarter-finals

     • Semi-finals

     • Final

12.03

The UEFA administration seeds the teams for the qualifying group stage draw and for the final draw in accordance with the UEFA men's Under-21 national team coefficient rankings (see Annex A).
