Article 36 Numbers and names - Under-21

36.01

Players must be allocated numbers between 1 and 23. If the number 1 is used, it must be worn by a goalkeeper.

36.02

For the final tournament, players must be allocated fixed numbers. These numbers must be displayed at chest height on the front of the shirts and the players’ names must be added to the numbers on the back.
