Venues must be announced by the host associations via the designated UEFA online system at least 60 days before league stage matches, promotion and relegation matches and matches in the UEFA Nations League finals, and no more than four days after the draws for rounds 1 and 2 of the play-offs for the final tournament.
When selecting a venue, the host association must take into account the length of the journey to be undertaken by the visiting team. In principle, the venue for a match must be within a 90-minute bus drive from an airport offering multiple scheduled flights every day from/to other European cities outside of the territory where the match is played.
Any objection by a visiting association regarding a selected venue must be communicated to the UEFA administration, with the host association in copy, within three working days of the venue being announced by the host association. The UEFA administration will then take a final decision, either confirming the venue or requesting that the host association propose another one in accordance with these regulations.
Kick-off times must be fixed and entered online by the host associations at least 30 days before the match, and no more than one working day after the draws for rounds 1 and 2 of the play-offs.
In principle, during the league stages, the last two matches within each group must kick off simultaneously on the last matchday. If the teams concerned cannot agree on a simultaneous kick-off time, the UEFA administration will take a final decision.
For reasons of sporting fairness, the UEFA administration is entitled to order the last decisive league stage matches across groups to be played at the same time.
