An entire championship (qualifying competition plus final tournament) is referred to in this annex as a cycle. A half cycle consists of either a qualifying competition (preliminary round and group stage only) or a final tournament. For the calculation of the women's national team coefficient to be used for the below-mentioned draw, as a rule, two and a half cycles are taken into account.
