Article 12 Competition stages and seeding - Women's Under-17

12.01

All matches in the competition are played in conformity with the IFAB Laws of the Game. The half-time interval lasts 15 minutes.

12.02

The competition stages are as follows:

1. Qualifying competition, divided into Leagues A and B, each comprising:

   • round 1;

   • round 2;

2. Final tournament, comprising:

   • group stage;

   • semi-finals;

   • if applicable, FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup play-off match;

   • final.

12.03

The team of the final tournament host association is guaranteed a slot in the final tournament but nevertheless participates in rounds 1 and 2 of the qualifying competition.
