Eight teams take part in the final tournament.
An open draw is conducted to allocate the eight teams into two groups of four.
The host association being A1, the two groups are formed as follows:

Each team plays each of the other teams in the group once, with three points awarded for a win, one for a draw and none for a defeat. The final tournament group matches are played according to the schedule below. The first-named team is considered as the home team.

The group winners and runners-up play the semi-finals in single-leg knockout matches, as follows:

Depending on the number of spots available to European teams, as determined by FIFA, a play-off match may be necessary to identify the remaining team to qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. If such match is required, the UEFA administration will confirm to the teams concerned the relevant play-off system as well as the match date and venue in due time after the final draw and before the final tournament kicks off.
