Article 19 Group formation – round 2 - Women's Under-17

19.01

The participating teams are divided into two leagues on the basis of their positions in the 2026/27 round 2 access list (see Paragraph 18.01 and Annex A).

1. The 28 teams ranked 1st to 28th enter League A.

2. The teams ranked 29th onwards enter League B.

19.02

Round 2 comprises 13 or 14 groups divided into the two leagues as follows:

• League A, containing seven groups of four teams;

• League B, containing six or seven groups of four or three teams, depending on the number of entries.

19.03

The following principles apply to the round 2 draw:

1. The composition of the groups within each league is decided by a draw.

2. The teams in each league are seeded according to the 2026/27 round 2 access list (see Paragraph 18.01 and Annex A).

3. Teams that played in three-team groups in round 1 are drawn into four-team groups for round 2 whenever possible.

4. Additional draw conditions may be applied, subject to approval by the UEFA Women’s Football Committee.
