If there is no winner at the end of normal time in a semi-final, the final or any FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup play-off match, the winner is determined by a penalty shoot-out (see Paragraph 30.02).
Penalties are taken in accordance with the IFAB Laws of the Game.
Depending on the number of FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup slots allocated to UEFA, a play-off match may be necessary to fill the last UEFA slot. The UEFA administration will confirm the need for such a match, as well as the match date and venue, in due course.
If a FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup play-off match is required, it is played as a single-leg knockout match. If the two teams are still equal at the end of normal time, the winner is determined by a penalty shoot-out (see Paragraph 30.02).
