Article 14 Match system – round 1 - Women's Under-19

14.01

All round 1 matches are played in the form of mini-tournaments in one of the countries in the group.

14.02

Each team plays each of the other teams in the group once, with three points awarded for a win, one for a draw and none for a defeat.

14.03

On completion of round 1, final group standings are compiled based on the number of points obtained by each team in the group.

14.04

On completion of round 1, teams are promoted or relegated for round 2 as follows:

1. The six group winners and the best runner-up in League B are promoted to League A.

2. The seven fourth-placed teams in League A are relegated to League B.
