All round 2 matches are played in the form of mini-tournaments in one of the countries in the group.
Each team plays each of the other teams in the group once, with three points awarded for a win, one for a draw and none for a defeat.
On completion of round 2, final group standings are compiled based on the number of points obtained by each team in the group.
The seven group winners in League A qualify for the final tournament. Should the team of the final tournament host association be a group winner, the vacancy created in the final tournament is filled by the best runner-up in League A.
