The competition stages are as follows:

1. League phase (14 groups divided into four leagues)

   • League A (four groups of four teams)

   • League B (four groups of four teams)

   • League C (four groups of four teams)

   • League D (two groups of three or four teams)

2. League A knockout stage

   • Quarter-finals

   • Finals

     • Semi-finals

     • Third-place match

     • Final

3. Play-offs for the next edition

   • League A/B play-offs 1, 2, 3 and 4

   • League B/C play-offs 1, 2, 3 and 4

   • League C/D play-offs 1 and 2

All matches in the competition are played in conformity with the IFAB Laws of the Game. The half-time interval lasts 15 minutes.
