Host associations must ensure that all contractual agreements related to a stadium have been duly concluded prior to its announcement for a match in the UEFA online system, which must occur at least 120 days before the match in question and is subject to approval by the UEFA administration.

22.02

Before announcing a stadium, the host association must take into account the length of the journey to be undertaken by the visiting team. In principle, the stadium must be no more than a 90-minute bus drive from the nearest international airport with daily flights from/to other European cities.

22.03

Any objection by a visiting association regarding an announced stadium must be communicated to the UEFA administration, with the host association in copy, within three working days of the stadium being announced by the host association. The UEFA administration will then take a final decision, either confirming the stadium or requesting that the host association propose another one in accordance with these regulations.
