Players must be allocated numbers between 1 and 23 for league phase matches, quarter-finals and play-offs, and numbers between 1 and 26 for matches in the finals. If the number 1 is used, it must be worn by a goalkeeper.
Players cannot change numbers during the finals (except for cases described in Paragraph 28.04). These numbers must be displayed at chest height on the front of the shirts and the players’ names must be added above the numbers on the back.
