Article 13 Match system and group formation – qualifying competition - Regions Cup

13.01

The six teams participating in the preliminary round are drawn into two groups of three teams.

13.02

The winners of each group qualify for the intermediate round alongside the 30 teams that qualify directly. The teams are drawn into eight groups of four teams. The UEFA administration establishes the draw procedure and communicates it prior to the draw.

13.03

Preliminary and intermediate round matches are played in the form of mini-tournaments in one of the countries in the group.

13.04

Each team plays each of the other teams in the group once. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw, and none for a defeat.

13.05

The eight group winners in the intermediate round qualify for the final tournament.
