The financial provisions for the final tournament, including the settlement of organisational costs, are defined in the contract between UEFA and the host association. The financial provisions for the final tournament are based on an official delegation of 27 people (20 players and 7 officials, one of whom must be a representative of the participating team’s national association) per participating association. Detailed information will be communicated at the workshop organised in conjunction with the final tournament draw.
Each participating association covers:
-
the travel expenses of its delegation to and from the tournament;
-
the costs of any additional members of the delegation;
-
the cost of extending the duration of their stay.
UEFA provides local ground transport within the territory of the host association, including a team bus, as specified at the finalists’ workshop. Any additional transport must be arranged and paid for by the participating associations themselves.
The teams that qualify for the final tournament each receive a financial contribution of €25,000 to cover the cost of the delegation’s travel to the final tournament venue and travel to the final tournament draw for two people, one of whom must be a representative of the participating team’s national association.
UEFA organises and pays for the board and lodging of the official delegation from two days before a team’s first match until the day after its elimination, or the day after the end of the final tournament for the finalists.
