Both clubs must make their training session on the day before the match fully open to the media in accordance with the schedule agreed in advance with UEFA. These training sessions take place at the match stadium, unless otherwise agreed with UEFA in advance and may be broadcast live.
If a club does not hold a full training session on the day before the match, alternative arrangements must be made in agreement with UEFA to provide the media with access of the team's preparation.
Each club must hold a pre-match press conference at the match stadium the day before the match. The pre-match press conferences are co-led by a dedicated UEFA press officer and a club press officer. Each press conference must be attended by at least the head coach of the team and one or, preferably, two players. If the head coach is suspended for the match, the club has the option of making the assistant coach available for the pre-match press conference instead. Press conferences may be broadcast live.
Each club must make its head coach and at least one player available the day before the match for a short interview each with the main audiovisual rights-holders of the countries of each club and the host broadcaster, and must make every effort to provide additional interviews to other audiovisual rights-holders as requested by UEFA. If the main audiovisual rights holder of the country of either club does not take up its interview opportunity, UEFA may conduct the interview(s) and make the content available to all audiovisual rights-holders.
