Upon UEFA's request, each club that qualifies for the league phase must provide UEFA with access to all A-list players, an agreed selection of eligible B-list players in their squad, the head coach and the assistant coach for a squad access day in order to gather the following content for host broadcaster operations and UEFA digital platforms:

  • A green screen (or similar) filming session with all players, the head coach and the assistant coach;

  • A photography session, at two stations, with all players, the head coach and the assistant coach;

  • A digital/corporate content session with ten players and the head coach;

  • An interview session with two players and the head coach.

UEFA and the club will agree in advance on the date, time and location of the squad access day and on which players will be made available for which sessions. Each team's squad access day will take place no later than four days before the team's first match in the league phase unless alternative arrangements are agreed by the team and UEFA. If a selected player becomes unable to participate in any part of the squad access day, the club must inform UEFA as soon as reasonably possible, and ensure that another player is made available as a replacement, or another suitable alternative is provided that is acceptable to UEFA.

In addition, during the league and knockout phases, UEFA will produce a match promo and special featured content around one selected match in each matchweek, to grow audience size and engagement and to drive appointments to view. A team whose match is selected must provide access to selected A-list players and the head coach to produce tailor-made content for this purpose.

84.03

UEFA and the club will agree in advance on the date, time and location of this additional filming and on which players will be made available. If a selected player becomes unable to participate in any part of the promotional content filming, the club must inform UEFA as soon as reasonably possible and ensure that another player is made available as a replacement, or another suitable alternative is provided that is acceptable to UEFA.

  2. Green screen (or similar) filming with all eligible A-list and B-list players who may form part of the final team as well as the head coach and assistant coach no later than seven days before the final; and

  3. An additional photo shoot with a minimum of four players from the team as well as the head coach no later than seven days before the final.
