14.01

A draw between the same number of seeded and unseeded clubs determines the ties for the qualifying phase. Clubs are seeded for these draws in accordance with the club coefficient rankings established at the beginning of the season (see Annex D) and with the principles set by the Women’s Football Committee. If, for any reason, any of the participants in the round in question are not known at the time of the draw, the following provisions apply:

  1. For the admission of clubs from the UEFA Women’s Champions League second qualifying round, the coefficients of the clubs involved in the mini-tournaments are used for the purposes of the draw. For the clubs admitted into the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup first qualifying round, the coefficient of the club with the third-highest coefficient of all the clubs in their respective mini-tournaments is used. For the clubs admitted into the second qualifying round, the coefficient of the club with the second-highest coefficient of all the clubs in their respective mini-tournaments is used.

  2. For the clubs admitted into the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup second qualifying round from the UEFA Women’s Champions League third qualifying round, the lower coefficient of the two clubs involved in each undecided tie is used.

  3. For the clubs advancing to the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup second qualifying round as winner of a first qualifying round tie, the coefficient of the club with the higher coefficient of the two clubs involved in the undecided tie is used.

14.02

The UEFA administration may form groups for the draw in accordance with the principles set by the Women's Football Committee. Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.

14.03

A draw is conducted to determine the pairings for each tie and which team plays the first leg at home.
