Article 43 Safety and security officer - Club Licensing

43.01

The licence applicant must have appointed a qualified safety and security officer with the following responsibilities:

1. Developing, implementing and reviewing safety and security policy and procedures, including risk management and planning;

2. Being the main point of contact between the public authorities and the licence applicant on all safety and security matters;

3. Managing match-related safety and security operations.

43.02

The safety and security officer must be qualified in accordance with the relevant national legal framework and should be trained and experienced in matters of crowd control and safety and security at football venues.
