The licence applicant must have appointed a qualified head coach who is confirmed as the head coach by the relevant UEFA member association and who is responsible for the following matters of the first squad:

Players’ selection;

Tactics and training;
-
Management of the players and technical staff in the dressing room and the technical area before, during and after matches; and

Duties regarding media matters (press conferences, interviews, etc.).
The head coach must hold one of the following minimum coaching qualifications, issued by a UEFA member association in accordance with the UEFA Coaching Convention:

Valid UEFA Pro coaching licence if the licensor (or its UEFA member association) is a signatory of the UEFA Coaching Convention at Pro level;

Valid UEFA A coaching licence if the licensor (or its UEFA member association) is not a signatory of the UEFA Coaching Convention at Pro level;

Valid UEFA recognition of competence equivalent to the licence required under a) or b) above as applicable.
