All non-EEA nationals entering Ireland for employment for more than 14 days but less than 90 days will require the relevant immigration permission from the Minister for Justice and Equality.
Generally this permission will be granted under the Atypical Working Scheme. Details of the Atypical Working Scheme can be found here.
The application process for the Atypical Working Scheme which must be made from outside of Ireland is as follows:
Completion of the application form, located on the relevant section of the INIS website, linked to above;
Required payment of EUR 250.00, via EFT;
Submission of the paper application form, and required supporting documentation;
Processing of the application (20 business days).
Once the approval for the Atypical Working Scheme is received, the visa required national can apply for an employment visa (Atypical Working Scheme) online (please section Visas above).
