If you are from a visa required country and wish to come to Ireland for 90 days or less, you will have to apply for a Short Stay ‘C’ Visa. How to apply for a short stay ‘C’ visit (tourist) visa - Immigration Service Delivery (irishimmigration.ie)

Applicants for visas are required to submit:

  • a completed and signed visa application form that is available at https://www.visas.inis.gov.ie/avats/OnlineHome2.aspxb;

    Please select visa/preclearance type as “Short stay (C), then the journey type (single or multiple) and identify the purpose of visit by mentioning UEFA Europa League Final 2024 to ensure prioritised process.

  • a passport valid for at least six months after the date on which the applicant intends to leave the Republic of Ireland (or, in the case of multiple journeys, the date on which the applicant intends to leave for the final time);

  • 2 passport-sized colour photographs of the visa applicant, signed on the back of each photo (in native script and language) and mention of the Visa Application Transaction Number from AVATS;

  • all previous passports;

  • an application letter signed and dated;

  • a support invitation letter issued by the Irish Football Association: please contact Heidi.Hesse@fai.ie if you require this letter;

  • documents confirming the purpose of travel, the necessary means of subsistence and accommodation;

  • information/documents enabling an assessment of the applicant’s intention to leave the territory of the Member States before the expiry of the visa;

  • travel/medical insurance if required;

  • documentation of any previous visa refusals;

  • other biometric identifiers collected when the applicant submits their application where required;

  • proof of visa application fee payment or fee exemption.

It is recommended to check the embassy’s/consulate’s information on visa appointment procedures early in advance and to submit the application as early as possible. Depending on the number of applicants, waiting periods to get an appointment for the visa application might occur but the Irish authorities have undertaken to process visa applications in an expedited manner consistent with the time constraints associated with the staging of the UEFA Europa League Final 2024.
