Staff members can be required to work on Sundays. However, staff working on Sundays are entitled to additional compensation (Sunday premium) unless the fact of his or her having to work on that day has been taken account in the determination of his or her pay.
Staff members can be required to work on public holidays (as long as compensated by days in lieu or reasonable allowance).
The following public holidays in Dublin must be taken into account:
May 5 (Early May Bank Holiday)
June 1 (June Bank Holiday)
