Pursuant to Article 6 of Law No. 29/2017, companies that post workers to Portugal in the framework of a transnational provision of services must notify the competent Portuguese labour authority, regardless of the duration of the posting, prior to the commencement of the posting.
In this case, the competent authority is the Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho (ACT) (Authority for Working Conditions). The notification must be sent through the online form on the ACT portal before the beginning of the service provision1.
