Employees must have at least:
11 consecutive hours of rest within each 24‑hour period.
This means that if employee finishes work at 21:00, the next shift cannot begin before 08:00 the following day.
Rest time may be reduced to 8 hours only in specific situations permitted by law or collective agreements.
