Temporary import declarations - Norwegian Customs

The Norwegian Football Association has received an exemption from the requirement that a security collateral must be provided for equipment, materials and goods that are temporarily imported for use during the event. This applies to goods that the athletes, sports organisers and others will use at the event. This will include equipment necessary for the organisation and execution of the event itself.

When such permission is granted to the organiser, carriers who are to transport goods for use during the event can either present a copy of the organiser's permission to Norwegian Customs' personnel at the border (document embedded below), or state the documentary number of the authorization: 26/13860-5. Similarly, freight forwarders, who are to declare goods for use during the event, may state the document number for the permit granted to the organiser.
