The Swiss State Secretariat for Migration has confirmed that foreign nationals with a valid passport and an official, personal Women’s EURO 2025 accreditation, if they are involved in the staging of the event or are officially affiliated with it, will be granted permission to enter, stay in and exit Switzerland and will be issued with the necessary visas.
The Swiss authorities have undertaken to implement simplified and expedited procedures to this end.
All third country citizens entering Switzerland to work for the preparation of the Women’s EURO 2025, who are subject to visas requirements, are invited to:
apply for accreditation;
contact the relevant UEFA project leader as soon as possible to request a support letter for their visa application;
provide UEFA project leader with necessary details (name, surname, date of birth, gender, nationality and passport number);
file the visa application with relevant documents as indicated above.
UEFA will share a list of participants subject to visas requirements, including their related details, with the Swiss federal authorities to benefit from an accelerated and free visa process, in accordance with UEFA Privacy Policies.
Please note that such information shall be provided as early as possible but minimum 1 month ahead of the entry into Switzerland.
For any questions related to this special regime, please contact the relevant Swiss embassy or consulate in your country of residence.
