3.01

The examinations and tests set out in Article 4, in Paragraph 5.01 and in Paragraph 6.01 are mandatory for all players participating in UEFA competitions.

3.02

The examinations and tests set out in Paragraph 5.02, in Paragraph 6.02, in Article 7 and in Article 8 are strongly recommended for all players participating in all stages of all UEFA competitions, but they are mandatory only for players participating in:

  1. the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA European Football Championship, UEFA European Women's Championship, UEFA Nations League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA European Under-21 Championship and UEFA Youth League (i.e. the whole competition in each case, including any qualifying rounds);

  2. the final rounds of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship, UEFA European Under-17 Championship, UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship, UEFA Futsal Champions League, UEFA European Futsal Championship, UEFA European Women’s Futsal Championship, UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship and UEFA Regions’ Cup.

3.03

All mandatory examinations and tests must be completed before the start of the competition and registered in the player’s medical record. UEFA may at any time ask to be provided with the results of such medical examinations and/or tests.
