An entire championship (qualifying competition including play-offs plus final tournament) is referred to in this annex as a cycle. A half cycle consists of either a qualifying competition (preliminary round and group stage without play-offs) or a final tournament. For the calculation of the women's national team coefficient to be used for the below mentioned draw, as a rule, two and a half cycles are taken into account.
