UEFA has been invited to enter seven teams in the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup. If a European association is designated to host the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, only six teams can enter in addition to the host, which qualifies automatically.

The competition stages are as follows:

  1. Preliminary round.

  2. Main round, composed of:

    1. group phase;

    2. play-offs.

  3. Elite round, composed of:

    1. group phase;

    2. play-offs.

Participating associations enter the competition as follows:

  1. The lowest-ranked teams in the UEFA senior men's futsal national team coefficient rankings (see Annex A) start the competition in the preliminary round. The number of teams in the preliminary round depends on the number of entries.

  2. The remaining teams start the competition in the main round.

  3. If a European association is selected to host the FIFA Futsal World Cup, its team qualifies automatically.

The UEFA administration seeds the teams for the preliminary round, main and elite round group phase draws in accordance with the coefficients of the participating associations. For the elite round group phase draw, the qualified teams are ranked based on their rankings in the main round group phase before the associations' coefficients are applied (see Annex A).
